Default Which is the most fun?

Didnt know where else to put this...
Im a returning player of about a 3 month break. Im thinking of just farming UW and in general and beefing up my plat so I can completely pimp out a new character. Runs through missions, end game armor really fast, perf. sets of weapons, etc. etc.

I have to pick from (because I already have the other prof on a character):

Necro
Mes
Sin
Para

Which of those 4 would be the most fun to "pimp out" if you will?

Sin-if you have a spike fetish, not to mention they are also good farmers

Necro-are good all around and are rather enjoyable to play

Mesmer-imo they have some of the best looking armor and are quite deadly in the hands of a competent player (not to mention being able to use caster items, gogo crystaline sword)

Paragons-having the unfailing "Imbagon" build which will get you into to most pugs(not to mention spears being sweet!)

Honestly I would choose mesmer or para (although i dont really like any paragon armor). Just my two cents.

Hmmm. Ditto on the Mesmer or paragon. I really like the look of obsidian Paragon armor. xD and mesmers definitely have some of the best looking armor in the game. Both are really fun to play! Paragon's get shields. xP which are sweet. haha

I agree with the other poster. Sin is good for farming especially in the uw. Mesmer would be tough to play only because it'll be near impossible to get into a pug with one. Necro is always fun and versatile and in demand in places like slavers exile. Para has the imbagon build which can get you into most elite area pugs.

sin usually give the best satifaction when you kill a monk before he can cast any spells. The others are so-so imo.

mesmer would be most fun to pimp out for me

the chaos gloves look unique under a mesmers long sleeve, and the celestial compass goes well on a mesmer i think.

By pimp out you mean armor and stuff? Mesmer, hands down. You'd be hard pressed to find mes armor that isn't good looking.

Assassin lets you slaughter everything. Brutally.

As far as armour and stuff goes... I dunno, mesmer or ritualist.

I want to make a mesmer, but I get so bored playing H/H these days :\

Yeah thats exactly what I mean. Its between mesmer and necro I think now. I started thinking of what I could use a mesmer for in pve, cause I could think of a couple farming/group stuff for necro. Help me out with that ha.

Necro's are a really well-rounded class and can be helpful in numerous situations. You can 55 farm with them, you can dish out huge amounts of AoE damage, and you can also give your physicals in your party some great buffs to help extend the damage. Builds such as - Moloch Vein's AP Promise Nuker, SS Nuker/Support, and 55.

Mesmer's as previously stated are deadly in the hands of a competent player. They look amazing in most of their armors and are great for things such as shutdown, interrupts, and big damage. Look in the mesmer sub-forum for the "cryer" build.

Assassin is meant for that job of quickly killing off any enemy with quickness. They can do a huge amount of AoE damage as well (Death Blossom/Moebius Strike build) and are big on solo farming right now with Perma SF.

Paragon, also stated before can't fail with the Imabgon build. It is incredible for all of your HM needs, but Paragon's aren't solo farmers unfortunately. They can also dish out pretty good damage as well with conditions.

Overall, I'd say pick which one you'd rather look at for a long long time, and which one you'd like for people to say "Wow look at that Necro/Para/Mes/Assa". Pick one you'd like to see in that awesome armor. And honestly, you might not even need a class that you can specifically solo farm with. One of my friends which has been playing mesmer since the beginning of the game has racked up a TON of money from just playing. While farming for my LB/SS titles, all I did for a week or so was ID and sell things and made upwards of 150k. Now, I'm not saying it's an amazing income, but for the average player, that's fine.

I've been playing Necros scince the beginning of the game and still love them, but that's because it's more of my playstyle. One of the previous posters stated what they're generally for. Whichever one goes with your playstyle the most, whichever one you'd feel most confident about playing in groups. Remember it's better to play a random class you can play with amazing skill than a generally preferred class with average skill.

With your preferred attributes - (Runs through missions, looks best in armor, perfect sets of weapons) I'd say: Mesmer.

From what I played:
Mesmer interrupts are very fun. I didn't care for the Degen or Signet skills though. I run like 3 Ints and Empathy for backup, and it makes PVE a lot easier on my allies. I'm only up to The Wilds, but I enjoy being a unique team member that isn't seen a lot. I even beat a Ranger for interrupts in The Frost Gate, he was jealous. :P

Paragon is loads of fun. Once you get a decent sized group, you can get endless energy pretty easily. They do get a bit spammy though, but unstripple buffs + endless burning AND defense boost? I love it.

Necros are good, but not really my cup of tea, they feel slow to me, even with that Death Rune thing.

And I don't have a Sin, but they seem good at PVP. :P

If you want to play the mesmer effectively in PvE - the guys go from being what is a very interesting and quite complex class to being just a straight up nuker.
They bore the hell out of me. It's such a waste of the potential the class has.
Also male mesmer FoW looks hideous. So your game of dress-up will end fast.

If you want a new character just based on how sweet they look - I'd have to go with something like male necro FoW, female assassin FoW and male para FoW. Especially the para does it for me.
